Up front it must be said — Deputy Minority Whip Eric Cantor please, please shut up. Just a few minutes ago as the bailout bill failed you complained how its failure was a direct reflection of partisan politics. You cited many an example and you were (for a few seconds) making sense. Then you held up Speaker Pelosi’s speech and had basically a temper tantrum in the fashion of a two-year-old about how this bailout failure was basically her fault. If that isn’t hypocritical, then I don’t know what is. Mr. Cantor if you’d like to keep it non-partisan, then QUIT BLAMING NANCY PELOSI.
Now I’m not saying I’m for or against the bailout, but if you’d like to cite failure Mr. Cantor then you cannot leave out your party’s participation (or rather lack thereof) in this vote.
As a final note of advice for this man — please keep your child-like reactions in check. Since you are the Minority Deputy Whip, sir, it should be assumed you could articulate your sentiments in an articulate manner and not in the fashion of spoiled brat.
